Which job justifies the expense?

P1S is an enclosure example, not our universal winner
Bambu describes the P1S as adding an enclosure and revised cooling to the P1P design. That is a meaningful architectural distinction. It is not a result from our own material tests, and it does not establish that every enclosed printer behaves the same way.
We would compare a P1S or another enclosed candidate only after naming the material and the part. Buying it to gain a vague professional label is a weak reason to spend more.
Read temperature and material support separately
A high nozzle-temperature claim, an enclosed shell and an actively heated chamber are different specifications. Do not infer one from another. Confirm the actual stock nozzle, bed, chamber behavior and material guidance for the candidate.
Our editorial rule is to rule out an undocumented required workflow before comparing price. A bargain is irrelevant when it does not support the job you are buying it to do.
The honest answer for a first printer
If you want to make ordinary small decorative parts and organizers, begin with the open-printer comparison and a few real models. We would allocate money to the right size and actual consumables before paying for a capability with no planned use.
If you already know you need a demanding material workflow, starting with an unsuitable machine and adding parts later can be false economy. Price the suitable complete setup first, including the workspace requirements in the manufacturer's instructions.
What remains uncertain
We have not measured chamber stability, particle emissions, noise or print strength for these machines. Consequently, neither this article nor a vendor's filtration claim can justify a health or exposure guarantee.
Our recommendation is about matching documented requirements to a purchase. A future hands-on review would need specific materials, repeatable models and recorded environmental conditions to make stronger performance claims.
